How can you not love a burrito? The beautiful thing about the tortilla is it can be filled with practically any kind of magic. Love being a carnivore? From shredded pork to braised beef and fresh fish, there are options for everyone. Vegetarian or vegan? Stuff that burrito with tofu, BBQ jackfruit, or loads of veggies.
American’s love of the burrito has spawned fast food chains to pop up nationwide. In addition, Cedar Fair parks have caught onto the popularity by offering burrito style food stands at a number of their parks.
So on National Burrito Day, lets take a look at where you can stuff a tortilla as fat as your head, whether it be in burrito form, or any other variety of Mexican style offerings.
California’s Great America
La Caninta in the Food Festival used to offer burritos but this year appears to offer a scaled back menu of quesadillas, nachos and taquitos. We are hoping to still see the burritos offered in the future.

Canada’s Wonderland
Each park tends to have a location where a lot of the magic happens and the really good food is offered. One of our favorite choices when visiting Canada’s Wonderland is Backlot Cafe for its wide selection of ethnic menu offerings from around the world.
Located inside Backlot is a South of the Border station offering a variety of options from burritos to tacos. After choosing from veggies, chicken or beef, guests have the option to pile on a large selection of toppings ranging from cilantro lime rice to refried beans.

Carowinds
First introduced in 2017, the Carowinds Cafe offers some of the best burritos we have ever eaten in a Cedar Fair park. The Carowinds commitment to fresh and quality food offerings is abundantly on display and for your selection when crafting a custom burrito. We also give bonus points when the parks offer our favorite, the crispy taco shell bowl!
Harmony Hall also offers a variety of quesadillas if you prefer your meal flat!

Cedar Point
Stuff your tortilla at the Cedar Point Buckaroo’s Burrito’s stand located near Raptor.
Another very popular “burrito” is the Chicken Bacon Wrap from CJ’s Provisions. One of our sons seriously gets this every visit (if the food stand is open)!

Dorney Park
In 2018, Dorney Park converted the former Smokehouse Barbecue into the Burrito Cantina, offering a selection of fresh Mexican offerings.

Kings Dominion
Probably one of our first park experiences with really good Mexican style food was at the Kings Dominion Border Cafe. Loading up one of their crispy taco shell bowls with our favorite toppings and then sitting outside by the fountains is the perfect way to start or end our day at the park. There is a reason this food location usually has a line out the door…it is really good!

Kings Island
Not only is Hank’s Burrito Shack at Kings Island one of our family’s go-to dining locations, we also love that they routinely change it up throughout the year by offering a unique offering, usually coinciding with a special event like the Peanuts Celebration or National Blue Ice Cream Day.

Knott’s Berry Farm
Knott’s Berry Farm has been offering fresh south of the border food way before it became the “in” thing to do. Located in Fiesta Village is La Victoria Cantina that offers a selection of favorites from tamales to burritos.
