Today marks the opening day for Cedar Point Shores and guests quickly found out one major change implemented to the wave pool. A fence has been installed around the zero entry perimeter, now only allowing controlled access into the wave pool.
In addition, chairs are no longer allowed within the wave pool.
The new measures are in place to better control access and help maintain safety for younger guests that require a life jacket to enter.
What are your thoughts on the new measure?

You over think everything …..adults sat in those chairs and watched kids play
Well, I won’t be renewing our passes for the 2023 season.
You’re just creating an unnecessary wait for entry into the pool. This is dumb. We, as parents, should be the ones responsible for putting life jackets on our kids if necessary. I was always capable of taking all the safety precautions necessary when bringing my kids there. Caging it off to people who would like easy access to an already crowded atmosphere is just stupid
No we like to put chairs in there to watch our grandkids play not every guest was taking into consideration fir this dumb decision you also need to redo your old bath house alot more bathrooms put signs up you have a changing area so they ll quit using the bathroom when you come in for changing also laxy river should b what it was named for both having kids running through it and fix the floor on the rapids
