Cedar Fair has been celebrating world cultures with the super FUN Grand Carnivale event going back to 2019. Now in its 3rd year due to the pandemic, Grand Carnivale is back at Carowinds, Dorney Park, Kings Dominion, Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun.
Carowinds, Kings Dominion and Valleyfair will host Grand Carnivale June 25 – July 10, 2022.
California’s Great America has Grand Carnivale July 20 – Aug 7, 2022.
Dorney Park and Worlds of Fun will have Grand Carnivale July 23 – Aug 7, 2022.
Grand Carnivale combines geographic decorations, games and live entertainment including a parade with world cuisine from countries aroudn the world.
For 2022, Grand Carnivale will celebrate China, France, Germany, India, Italy, and Spain.
Tasting cards for Grand Carnivale will cost $39.99 for six (6) items or $59.99 for ten (10). Tasting cards can be used on multiple visits to the parks.

China
Kung Pao Cauliflower – Rice flour battered and tossed in kung pao sauce
Char Siu Pork Belly – Teriyaki glazed pork on steamed buns with green onions
Spicy Shrimp Udon – Tossed with snow peas, bok choy and red pepper
Asian Style Banana Fritters – Served with caramel sauce and sesame seeds
France
Raclette – Classic melty French cheese served with arugula on a garlic buttered baguette
Savory Crêpe – Spinach, garlic and goat cheese stuffed crêpe
Pear & Brie Croissant – Brie cheese, baby arugula, pecans and pear chutney
Peach Galette – Fresh peaches baked in a flaky dough
Germany
Currywurst – Fried bratwurst, cut into pieces and simmered in a tomato curry sauce
Potato Pancakes – Crispy potato cakes, served with apple chutney and sour cream
Apfelkuchen – Traditional apple custard cake topped with powdered sugar
Pretzel Bites – Fried and served with Bach beer cheese

Vada Pav – A deep fried potato dumpling served inside a potato bun, topped with sweet tamarind chutney and cilantro sauce
