If there is any audience that has fully embraced the craft beer market, it is Canada’s Wonderland guests. Started back in 2016, the park created Behemoth Blonde & Leviathan Amber Ale. In 2018, the signature Behemoth and Leviathan beers were switched over to Great Lake Brewery. Then in 2019, Canada’s Wonderland debuted Gold Rush peach cider and Yukon Striker Pilsner. Not done there, for the 2021 season, Canada’s Wonderland introduced Anniversary Ale.

The craft beer market has been proven to be very popular at Canada’s Wonderland. We have often seen several of the specialty adult beverages sold out about midway through the summer. So be sure to grab them when you see them available.

For the 2022 season, Canada’s Wonderland has added a couple new seasonal beverages, as well as revamped some of their originals, so lets take a look at what guests can expect.

The Behemoth and Leviathan beers have again been reincarnated for 2022. Now they will be made by India Ale House out of Toronto. In addition to some fantastic looking new can art, Indie Ale House will produce a Leviathan Lager, Yukon Striker North West IPA, and Behemoth Wheat Ale. Just based on the can art alone, we expect these to sell out fairly quickly if they do not keep up with demand.

Next up, Muskoka Brewery has created a new Muskoka Plunge Pale Ale. 5.3% alc./vol., it will be served in 473 mL cans. “Two summer traditions we can always count on: seeking thrills with the family at Canada’s Wonderland and having a Muskoka Brewery beer on the dock. Muskoka Plunge Pale Ale is the perfect beer to cheers to our favourite summer memories!”

The Muskoka Plunge can features a cool map motif that includes Wilde Beast, Dragon Fyre, Mighty Canadian Minebuster, Thunder Run, and of course Muskoka Plunge from the water park. The two unlabeled roller coasters on the can appear to be Flight Deck and Leviathan.

If you recall back in 2019, Canada’s Wonderland partnered with Ernest Cider to produce an exclusive Gold Rush peach cider (which is absolutely great by the way).

For 2022, the park has extended the collaboration to offer a new Wondermelon Splash. With a hint of mint, the new beverage is made from an apple cider base, is served in 473 mL cans and 5.9% alc./vol. “Wondermelon Splash has a juicy and quenching watermelon taste with a hint of mint.” You also gotta love the bright red color.
