The time has come. Kings Island has announced that due to overwhelming guest enthusiasm, they are introducing the B&M Orion roller coaster.
Orion is one of only 7 giga-coasters in the world, bringing the tallest, fastest, and longest steel coaster to Kings Island.
At 91 mph, seventh fastest coaster in North America, 10th fastest on earth!
Cost as much to build Kings Island in 1972 as Orion, single largest investment in park history.
X-Base to be renamed to Area 72 themed after secret research facility on the flight of man.
