Dorney Park is introducing a huge new multi-level play structure at Wild Water Kingdom in 2020, Seaside Splashworks
The new family attraction will feature more than 75 play elements to engage the entire family for hours, including:
- Six water slides, totaling 430ft in length, with twists and turns for refreshing entertainment
- Interactive spray jets that guests of all ages can operate
- Oversized water cannons for splashing family and friends
- An adventuresome 195ft net bridge trail where guests can challenge their climbing and discovery skills
- A giant 317 gallon tipping bucket that drenches everyone standing below every 3-4 minutes
- A splash zone just for toddlers
The attraction will be the largest structure in the water park featuring 6 towers, 12 water cannons and nine tipping cones; it replaces the Island Water Works playground and splash pad.
UPDATE: As announced during the 2019 Coaster Madness event in October, Grand Carnivale will be returing to Dorney Park in 2020. From July 25 through August 16, 2020, guests will be able to experience all the lights, all the entertainment, all the food celebrating world heritage.
Also new for 2020 will be Summer Nights, debuting Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from June 20 through July 12. This nighttime event will combine family friendly entertainment and specialty food items for a unique park experience.
Cedar Point has been having a Summer Nights style event (Cedar Point Nights) for a number of years, and Knott’s Berry Farm and Carowinds offered it in 2019.
