August and September are always exciting times for us when visiting Canada’s Wonderland because the schedule ramps up with lots of end of summer events and food festivals.

Canada’s Wonderland is ready to celebrate the Civic Holiday with a night of spectacular fireworks on Sunday, Aug. 4 and a long weekend full of exciting events and daily live shows for the whole family. It will also be the last chance to catch KidZfest with special guests the MARVEL© Superheroes.

At 10 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, the night sky will light up with more than 6,000 fireworks in a unique, custom-designed display reaching heights of more than 800 feet and choreographed to a soundtrack featuring epic movie scores.

Throughout the weekend, guests can also enjoy a variety of live entertainment including The Chinese Acrobats, Tundra: A Cirque Experience, the Flying Frontenacs and the Victoria Falls High Divers. Plus, don’t miss your last chance to experience KidZfest with dance parties, a foam pit, and special meet and greets with MARVEL© Superheroes and characters from popular TV shows including Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Additional events coming up this season include food festivals Taste of Mexico (NEW! Aug. 10-11), Taste of Greece (Aug. 17-18), Taste of Italy (Aug. 24-25) and Oktoberfest (Sept. 14-15 and Sept. 21-22). Each is included with admission and features amazing themed menus, live music and entertainment.
