YOGURT PLUS BOBA – Have you been inside Yogurt Plus at Cedar Point and seen those little jelly balls in the toppings section? Most people, without knowing what they are may pass right by them, but for those that have eaten them, let the enjoyment begin.

Known as boba, but more commonly known as tapioca balls (like those found in the pudding), guests can choose from an assortment of flavors to enhance the flavor and texture of their yogurt selection. Bobas were first started used in Taiwan in the 1980’s in bubble tea.

So what is in a Boba?

A boba mostly consists of flavored sugar water inside a gelatinous seaweed extract shell.

The Cedar Point Yogurt Plus locations offer the following flavors of boba:

Note both Yogurt Plus locations may not have all the boba flavors on select days, as we have seen Kiwi only available in the GateKeeper location occasionally.
