There is one menu item throughout Cedar Fair parks that we have routinely given a little bit of a hard time, the frozen chicken tenders. While they are decent, if we are going to pay money for chicken tenders, they better be the hand-breaded chicken tenders that can potentially pack a lot more flavor, like those served at Stockade Refreshments.
Sadly, the frozen chicken tenders have been a staple of the Cedar Point dining plan for a number of years. However, we think we finally found an excellent use for the standard chicken tenders.
New for the 2018 season, Frontier Foldovers offers a Crispy Chicken Foldover that goes really well with the chicken tenders. A large pita style bread is filled with lettuce, tomato, chicken tenders and ranch dressing.
The crispiness of the fried chicken is exactly what brings this sandwich full circle, and provided they do not douse the foldover with too much ranch, is light and refreshing. Not to mention we love that the foldovers are definitely one of the better values in the park!

Pros: Really goes well with the crispy chicken tenders, and we prefer this one to the Sicilian.
