We were so excited last week to announce the details of Chef Paul’s VIP Haunt Meal in the Caprice Room at Kings Dominion. Chef Paul had shared with us the exclusive menu to be served at the inaugural event on September 27, 2014.
The Haunt VIP meal costs $34.99 per person, and provides a great value for an Executive Chef prepared meal.
So lets take a peak into last weeks event.

Deadliest Catch on Warm Maggot Pilaf and The Ghost of Kings Dominion’s Vomit Sauce (Egg Battered Mahi Mahi on Creamy Mediterranean Parmesan Orzo with Lemon Caper Cream, Wilted Spinach and Glazed Tri Color Carrots)
Haunted Apple Grove Cobbler with Candied Casket Earth Worms (Warm Apple Cobbler with Gummy Worms, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Fresh Mint, Caramel Sauce and Toasted Chopped Peanuts)

Chef Paul has once again shared with us the meal to be served this week. Guests are in for a real treat, as the meal is going to be served in four (4) courses this weekend.
The Beginning (Starters)
Vampire Blood Sucker Shooter and Grilled Pork Flesh with Pickled Intestines and Bone Marrow Cream (Duo of Tomato Basil Soup Shooter with Fried Basil Leaf and Grilled Pork Belly with Garlic Aioli, Pickled Onions on Toasted Baguette)
First Bite (First Course)
Corpse Cartilage and Creamed Puke with Gang Green Drippings (Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops with Fresh Virginia Creamed Corn, Baby Radish, Arugula and Herb Oil)
The Devils Feast (Entree)
Slow Roasted De-Boned Beef Carcass with Blood Gravy and Plucked Green Frog Legs (Braised Beef Short Ribs with Red Wine Reduction, Sour Cream Whipped Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, Glazed Malibu Carrots and White Truffle Oil Popcorn Garnish)
The Bitter End? (Dessert)
Roadkill Pumpkin Bar with Cemetary Dirt and Embalming Fluid Sauce (Pumpkin Cheesecake Bar with Pop Rocks and Oreo Crumble, and Orange Cranberry Coulis)
As a reminder, guests who purchase the Haunt VIP Meal will also be contacted to determine if they have any allergies or are celebrating a special occasion, at which time the menu will be adjusted towards their needs. Vegetarians will also have a menu available for them upon request.
Following the meal, guests will receive a souvenir menu with the gory description of the food, what the food actually is and then the Haunted story about the Caprice Room.
