Anyone know if Dorney Park will offer the season drink refill without a bottle?
Yes all the parks should be offering it for sale today (March 1). They have all been coming online today, so be patient if it has not shown up yet.
Thanks.
Is Papa Luigi’s included on the dining plan? If so, what are the options
We are told Papa Luigi’s will be included on the 2017 dining plans; however, we are still waiting for the menu options to be included.
List has now been updated with the latest Dorney dining plan options, including Papa Luigi’s.
I have a meal plan and have eaten lots of meals in Dorney this year, though only once in Wild Water.
I prefer the pizza in Wild Water, as you can switch your side to fries. The one in Dorney gives you breadsticks with a nasty cup of sauce. My 4 year old niece likes them though. The mini corn dogs at Supper Time I will not get again. I couldn’t even pawn those off on the 4 year old.
The burgers at both the burger barn and coasters are decent, but the fries are a total hit or miss. The salad is fine, and has a decent amount of chicken. The veggie burger seems okay, my sister has had it, I haven’t. Compared to what you get if you order a burger, since the double is on the dining, the portion you get if you order chicken fingers is quite small (3 chicken fingers). Coasters as it is right near the front of the park, seems to be frequented by large groups like camps who have a meal plan with their tickets. It tends to be very crowded as these groups are leaving for the day. At these times, your prepped food will sit in the window several minutes before being served. If you see camp groups in there, go to the Burger Barn.
The Cheesesteak at Papa Luigi’s was a respectable one. Not insulting at all if you’ve had the real thing. Fries at Chickie’s and Pete’s usually come with Old Bay seasoning on them. I guess some people love this.
My favorite location of the ones I’ve tried is the Smokehouse… when it is open and has food. On days with low staffing, this location doesn’t tend to open. I think this also opens at 12 vs. 11. They are often out of things. This was okay when the wait for chicken was 10 minutes. Another day it was over an hour. They were also out of salad that day. I understand they have to start cooking this well ahead of when it will be served, but how frequently I’ve encountered this, it seems as though they aren’t doing a very good job of estimating how much to cook based on the gate. Oddly enough, the baked beans here are pretty good. Definitely get that as a side if it’s actually open and has food. I can’t report on the pulled pork as I don’t eat that.
Wow, great feedback! Thank you!
