The nightmare-filled world of Knott’s Scary Farm opens tonight for its 46th season with a completely transformed park that brings terror to life as the largest immersive Halloween experience in Southern California. Every inch of the park is covered with hidden frights, prowling creatures, new spine-chilling scares, and terrifying twists. Tonight, Knott’s Scary Farm awakens the most hellish nightmares by unleashing 14 haunted attractions including new mazes and frightful scare zones that place guests face-to-face with monstrous creatures and a world of horror.

Knott’s Scary Farm opens for 25 horrifying nights from September 20 – October 31, on select nights. New and original scares are in store for this season starting tonight as the park debuts two grueling never-before-seen mazes and the birth of a new hair-raising scare zone.

New for 2018:

This season new horrors are in store with the terrorizing maze Dark Entities, teleport beyond earth and into the darkness of deep space where an extraterrestrial mutation has invaded the station and is on the prowl for new hosts. Or tunnel into The Depths maze where visitors descend into an underground cave to search for the missing mining crew that villager’s whisper no man has ever resurfaced. A new unearthly scare zone has emerged from the lake beneath Silver Bullet as mysterious creatures have awakened from their crypts to drag unsuspecting victims to their watery graves in Forsaken Lake.

In addition to this year’s mazes and haunted attractions line-up, Knott’s Scary Farm is debuting two-all new shows that will keep guests on the edge of their seats. In HACKS – Cutting Room Floor, the unique, twisted, improvised comedy antics of “Hacks” are back at Knott’s Scary Farm performing at the Charles M. Schulz Theatre. This time around, they have taken over a run-down movie theater and with the help of the audience and lots of “B” horror films, they create on the spot, a Halloween show that will have you screaming with laughter.

The Bird Cage Theatre has once again become the home of comedy and magic in CONJURES – Magic and Mirth in the Bird Cage Theatre. Join award-winning magicians and Fox’s Masters of Illusion regulars as they take the stage to amaze and amuse. Witness magicians Dana Daniels, Taylor Hughes, and Chipper Lowell front and center as they perform on select nights. Plus, a new non-stop dance party that resides at Fiesta Village with AWAKEN THE DEAD, where guests can jam to the most popular songs.

Returning Favorites

Dark Ride – Journey through an abandoned carnival ride where cruel carny folk still linger in the shadows. Inside the abandoned attraction they have created a world of terror which they plan to unleash on those who enter.

Trick-or-Treat: Lights Out – Returning darker and more twisted than ever step inside the Green Witch’s home by venturing through the blacked out building armed with only a faulty flashlight in Trick or Treat: Lights Out.

Shadow Lands – Enter the hair-raising Shadow Lands maze and fight off demon samurais whose souls are cursed to rot within the depths of purgatory.

Pumpkin Eater – Survive the wrath of the murderous 7-foot tall creature, Pumpkin Eater, as he’s on the prowl for his next victim in the town he continues to terrorize.

Special Ops: Infected – Enlist to fight the zombie apocalypse in an all-out war against the undead in the interactive experience, Black Ops: Infected, which has been unleased in the city.

PARANORMAL, INC – Guests are invited to investigate a haunted hospital of Hayden

Hill where the patients were tortured for decades by deranged doctors and nurses.

Red Barn – Take a trip to a blood-soaked barn filled with carnivorous animals seeking to prey on human flesh in Red Barn maze.

The Hanging – The Citizens of Calico face their toughest foes yet, the censors, in this live stage show that looks back at the year’s pop culture with some killer comedy. Notorious for its special effects and high-flying stunts, The Hanging is a no holds barred assault on pop culture’s most infamous moments of the past year. A must see parody!
