It is Dorney Park’s turn to host the now infamous Grand Carnivale celebration from June 20 through August 11, 2019.

The Grand Carnivale food received rave reviews from guests when the event was at Kings Dominion and Kings Island, and that will continue when it is now at Worlds of Fun and Dorney Park.

Of course the Mardi Gras style parade and party has also been a massive hit with guests.

Dorney Park is offering guests a very special opportunity to ride and participate in the Grand Carnivale parade!

Tomorrow (June 17) at 7:00 pm, season passholders get the exclusive opportunity to apply to be able and ride in a parade float for the nightly event by visiting DorneyPark.com. **UPDATE: The event is SOLD OUT!**

Guests are required to dress in provided outfits. While riding in the floats, guests will have the opportunity to toss beads similar to Mardi Gras.

This is a very cool opportunity to participate in Grand Carnivale!

Dorney Park Grand Carnivale Parade Ride Experience

We applied and were lucky to get selected to ride in a parade float for the Grand Carnivale celebration.

It was a really cool experience to see the parade from a perspective you do not usually get. From up on the float, you get to see all the other people reacting to the parade. It was a nice experience to ride by and see the kids faces light up when you threw them some beads.

The team also does a great job of making sure the guests riding the floats have a good time. They took the kids who wanted to in and gave them glitter face paint.
