One of the exciting new menu options added to Cedar Point’s lineup for 2017 was fried shrimp. We were also quite surprised to see that the butterfly shrimp was added to the Cedar Point Dining Plans.

So where can you get the fried shrimp basket? Inside Cedar Point you can get them at the Burger Patio located next to Corral. Previously we never paid much attention to Burger Patio given it only offered your typical hamburgers, fries, etc. However, now that the fried shrimp is offered at Burger Patio, it was newly on our radar.

Guests can also get the fried shrimp over in Cedar Point Shores at the new Crystal Rock Cafe.

Our meal included 6 fried butterfly shrimp, a side of cocktail sauce, and our choice of waffle fries, side salad, or fruit cup. We elected for the waffle fries.

So how was the butterfly shrimp basket? We thought it was terrific. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the waffle fries were far better than the standard fries served elsewhere, and the cocktail sauce, assumed to be Heinz, was really tasty for dipping.

We definitely all agreed the Cedar Point fried shrimp basket was a winner and something we would eat again.
