One of our family’s favorite nights to visit Cedar Point’s Bay Harbor is during the off-season when they offer $15 pasta meals on Wednesday evenings.
Guests get the chance to try favorites like Pasta Pomodoro, Chicken Carbonara, Cajun Shrimp Alfredo, Chicken Picatta, Chicken Parmesan, Lobster Fettucini, or Seafood Pesto as part of the special menu.
A garden or Caesar salad is an additional $5, and house wines are $5 per glass.
On our previous Pasta Night visits, having tried the majority of the options, we thought the Chicken Parmesan stood out as a favorite. So we opted to try it again.
The dish is served with a Parmesan crusted chicken breast topped with housemade marinara sauce, served with linguini pasta.
The first thing we immediately noticed with this years Chicken Parmesan was the size of the meal. In the past, the dish included two pieces of chicken and a hefty size portion of pasta that filled the plate. Now the meal includes a single chicken breast and smaller portion of pasta, one that awkwardly leaves the plate looking empty.
The meal is also served with a piece of garlic bread topped with melted cheese. The bread is REALLY good with the meal, but we again noted it was substantially smaller than our previous visits and was a bit soggy.
Despite the portion size, the Bay Harbor Chicken Parmesan was still good, though not as memorable as previous visits. All the more reason to try some of the other menu items on our next visit!
Let us know below in the comments if you have tried the Chicken Parmesan and your thoughts.
