Back in August 2018, it was announced the Kings Mills Antique Autos are returning to Kings Island in 2019. When the park opens in April, guests will enjoy the new feel of the Coney Mall, where the Kings Mills Antique Autos will call their new home across from Juke Box Diner and adjacent to The Racer.
The quarter-mile long track will include billboards, a covered bridge and incorporated pond into the experience.
The antique ride vehicles are being provided by Gould Manufacturing out of Winnipeg, Canada. The company has a long history of amusement ride products including the antique autos that opened at Valleyfair in 2014.
The ride vehicles are 2/3 scale replicas of the 1911 Ford Model T. Each car will feature two rows of seats to accommodate 4 guests with a covered roof.
Power to the ride vehicles is via 9 HP gasoline engines with speeds governed up to 6 M.P.H.
The Kings Island Antique Autos will come in four colors, blue, red, white and yellow.
Which color will you be hoping for this season?
