Get your forks ready for the Dorney Park Ribs ‘n’ Rides BBQ Festival and Competition.

This new event, supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in the fight against childhood cancer, will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28, 2015.

The Ribs ‘n’ Rides BBQ Festival is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) and will feature the following pit masters.

Que and a Half Men Competition BBQ Team
Smokin’ Gnome BBQ
Fire & Spice BBQ
4-8-4 BBQ
HAWG Nation BBQ
Brisket Burners
Paige Against The Machine
‘B’ for Chicken
Beerbeque
Our Bark Is Better Than Your Bite
Lo’ -N- Slo’ BBQ
Papa’s Smokin Again
The Rooster Crew
Tom Tom Bob A Que

Guests will be able to purchase special BBQ Bucks at the event, and for 2 BBQ Bucks, guests will be able to get 4 oz samples from the various cooks. The only time this will not be allowed is during the competition on Sunday morning.

Traditional Competition (Sunday morning): Teams to cook 4 meats (Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork Butt, & Brisket). The cooking source shall be of wood, wood pellets or charcoal. KCBS Rules and regulations apply.
