CHICKIE’S & PETE’S RESTROOM CLOSURE – When the current Cedar Point Chickie’s & Pete’s location operated as Game Day Grill prior to the 2014 season, there were convenient bathrooms located internal to the building. When Chickie’s & Pete’s opened, there was one distinct feature missing, restrooms for the guests.

Several theories appear to be floating around about why guests are being told to use the bathrooms out in the park. It was reported to the CPFB that sometime prior to opening, the pipes burst, causing a lot of damage internal to the bathroom area. What is not understood is why the repair was not made during the renovation?

The issue has been reported to upper management, and they are still determining the best course of action.

Due to the current configuration of the dining room, it is anticipated that there will need to be some rearranging of the tables to move them away from the vicinity to the restroom.

Cedar Point has not responded with an expected resolution date.
