Try saying the name of this article three times fast. Cedar Fair has added a new FUN activity for guests to pursue during a visit to Grand Carnivale. The international celebration takes place July 17 – August 1, 2021 at Carowinds, Kings Dominion and Kings Island, and July 24-August 8 at Dorney Park, Valleyfair and Worlds of Fun.

Of course the highlight is the incredible parade and entertainers that go into the night, as well as the chance to sample Grand Carnivale cuisine from around the world.

The parks have added a FUN new scavenger hunt style event, the Grand Carnivale Alligator King Mardi P. Gras’s International QR Invitational.

Using your smart phone, guests scan the QR code at each of seven character signs scattered throughout the event. The links will then direct you to a video for what guests need to do to complete the challenge. After showing your photo to the attendant, guests get a button for their specific country.

The Grand Carnivale Alligator King Mardi P. Gras’s International QR Invitational is totally free and a nice collectors item.
