In 2018, Kings Island hosted a special Island Nights Glow Party event in Soak City, offering extended hours, live music, games and specialty menu items for purchase.

Island Nights in Soak City water park is offered July 12, 19, and 26, 2019 from 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm.

Scheduled extended slide time is offered on the following attractions:

Tropical Twister
Rendezvous Run
Splash Landing
Tropical Plunge
Tidal Wave Bay

Each menu item requires 1 ticket at $6 each ($5 for season passholders) that can be purchased at the event. The dining plan is not eligible on Island Nights food items.
