Were you one of the few that elected to take part in the 2016 Cedar Point #WinterChillout? After starting off the day with coffee and light snack, and a tour around the park, around 800 guests dined in the new Lakeside Pavilion.
Chef Phil Bucco had a spread of fresh meal options ready for the masses. The menu included the following.
– Fresh Vegetables (Broccoli, baby carrots, celery, radishes, tomatoes) along with ranch, blue cheese, lemon, and red pepper hummus
– Boneless Wing Bar featuring BBQ and Buffalo flavors, as well as dipping sauces
– Chili Station (Texas Jack and White Chicken Chili) served with sour cream, shredded cheese, jalapenos, and crackers
– Pasta Station (Penne Becca: Grilled chicken, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, garlic olive oil; Rigatoni Primavera: Roasted vegetables, marinara sauce, Parmesan)
– Caesar Salad (Romaine, traditional dressing, croutons, Romano cheese)
– Apple Cobbler, Cookies

This was by far the best meal I have ever had at the park. I hope this is an indication as to the overall park food for the 2016 season.
