<p><P><P>Did you purchase any of the special Peanuts character handmade desserts that were available in the Cedar Point Sweet Spot? Apparently the answer is no.</p>
<p>We recently noticed the selection of not only Peanuts character candied apples and marshmallow sticks gone, but also the variety of treats in general getting slim. </p>
<p>As it turns out, the character desserts had extremely poor sales, resulting in the vast majority of them getting thrown away. Second, apparently management did not ok the use of the designs, which might also mean there was potential licensing issues. </p>
<p>Though we tend to doubt it would be a licensing issue since as of this writing, they are still available at the Kings Island Sweet Spot. </p>
<p>We find this news extremely disheartening, as the park was finally using its full food potential to capture the character experience. </p>
<p>This could also mean that many more items at the Sweet Spot could eventually see their demise if guests do not purchase them. </p>
<p>Should they have given some of the items a longer time to catch on with the consumer? Were they overpriced and thus why no one purchased them? Or did no one really care to purchase a Peanuts themed dessert? </p>
