When guests visit Kings Island, chances are the one food they will try before leaving the park is the iconic blue ice cream. Though we think guests should also make it a point to get the Chicken Shack hand battered chicken tenders as well.

Well one of the great things about Kings Island is they offer unique and great food offerings all around the park. Yet some of them are hidden and lesser known options.

We recently elected to stop by the Kings Island Planet Snoopy Ice Cream stands while our kids enjoyed the rides. One of the unique offerings only available at this food stand is a Red Cream Soda Float.

After filling the cup with vanilla soft serve, the cup is topped off with red cream soda.

We happen to order this treat on a very hot morning, making it a perfect snack to cool off, even if it was before 11:00 AM. :)

The Red Cream Soda Float was really good, though contrary to what everyone would think, we would have liked to seen a little more soda and a little less ice cream. We also probably should have let the heat of the day melt the soft serve instead of gobbling it down immediately. We suppose we may have just been caught up in the delicious moment.
