At the new Blue Ridge Country Kitchen at Carowinds, it is all about the rotisserie.
Located in the new Blue Ridge Junction area of the park, the former Wings Restaurant has been outfitted with rotisserie ovens that can slow roast hundreds of items at once.
The new Blue Ridge Rotisserie Pizza features three of the in-house made favorites, slices sausage, shredded chicken, and shaved beef on top of a white sauce base.
This pizza really packs in a lot of flavor from the large variety of meat toppings and pairs nicely with the white sauce. We liked adding the Copperhead Strike hot sauce to the pizza for a ton of extra flavor and slight little bit of heat.
We also liked that the rotisserie pizza was more of a thin crust, making it a more enjoyable meal for those warm days in the park.
We also appreciate the fact that the meal includes two pieces of pizza, since Cedar Point in particular has been getting really stingy in the past couple seasons by cutting the dining plan down to only one slice. Plus the meal comes with a bread stick!
Our one con is at the beginning of the season, the rotisserie pizza was served with larger slices of meat across the pizza. Now, the pizza is sprinkled with much smaller servings of meat. The pizza was much more flavorful with the larger chunks of meat as opposed to the shavings served now.

This pizza has become one of my favorite menu items at Carowinds. Pro-Tip: Drizzle a little bit of Chef Kris’ “Copperhead Strike” Sauce on top of the pizza for an added (and super tasty) “kick!”
