When we first started going to Kings Dominion and tracking the food several years ago, Outer Hanks at Kings Dominion offered a pretty great lineup of menu items. Sadly in 2017, without a head chef at the helm, the inspirational menu items we had come to expect went awry.

In June 2017, Kings Dominion brought on Chef Tiffanie Facey with a strong background in catering.

We started to get our first glimpse into what to expect during the 2017 Kings Dominion Brew & BBQ.

Now that the 2018 season is among us, we are starting to get the full grasp of the direction Chef Facey is planning on taking the food scene.

First up, Outer Hanks is getting a menu overhaul, and we love the new direction. All the new menu items at Outer Hanks include waffle fries, which is an exciting improvement over the standard issue fries.

Loaded Waffle Fries

In addition to this terrific looking loaded waffle fries, Outer Hanks is also supposed to offer a loaded hush puppies option!

Hanky Panky Key Lime Parfait

In addition to new signature menu items, Hanks will offer a new specialty dessert parfait.

At the time of writing, it is unknown if these new menu items will be included on the dining plans.
