<p>Take a gander at this rare historical item from from Kings Island. Prior to the park&#8217;s announcement on May 11, 1999 of Son of Beast roller coaster, the public relations team sent out these wooden boxes to the media inviting them to the event. </p>
<p>Inside was candy and the invite to the event.</p>
<p>Son of Beast operated at Kings Island from May 26, 2000 until June 16, 2009. On On July 27, 2012 it was announced the Son of Beast roller coaster would be removed from the park.</p>
