Kings Island will lay claim to the largest Starbucks in the Midwest when the park opens on April 18, 2015. Other new dining improvements include a Yogurt Plus stand, a rebranded Sweet Spot with freshly made treats, a new Funnel Cake Stand, new Kings Island Coca-Cola Freestyle Café location, and Kings Island Coca-Cola Marketplace.
For those with a gluten intolerance, such as celiac disease and wheat allergies, guests will not only be able to purchase gluten free menu items, but also do so as part of the dining plans!
Since 2013, the Coney Potato Works, located in Coney Mall, has offered guests gluten-free fresh cut fries, gluten-free chicken tenders, gluten-free hand-dipped corndogs, gluten-free soft serve ice cream cones and some gluten-free beer choices. These will remain for 2015.
In addition and new this year, gluten-free beer, pizza, and chicken tenders will be offered at Festhaus.
Guests who are part of the All-Day and All-Season Dining plans will also be able to take advantage of the gluten free offerings.
