Since July 2019, Denis Callinan’s impressive resume won him the Executive Chef position at Kings Dominion. Under his leadership, the park successfully
opened the amazing Grain & Grill restaurant, and reimagined The Outpost Cafe, with believe it or not, prime rib on the menu (and dining plan). Not to mention all improving all the other dining venues and running special event menus like Grand Carnivale, Haunt and Winterfest.
Heading up a single dining venue is tough enough, but running an entire amusement park with loads of different dining venues is a monster task, and one that Chef Denis had excelled. Sadly, we have confirmed with Cedar Fair that Denis is no longer with the company.
That being said, Kings Dominion is currently on the hunt for a new Executive Chef to lead it into the future.
