Today Dorney Park, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, gets their day to shine, or shall we say dive, with the introduction of their new roller coaster, Iron Menace.

Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M), the dive coaster climbs the lift hill and after being suspended over the edge, drops 152 feet at 95° before going into its first of four inversions.

Iron Menace’s 2,169 feet of track will take riders into four inversions, including a first of its kind, tilted loop.

Dorney Park’s new roller coaster will be themed around an abandoned old steel mill with an intriguing back story of greed and missing persons.

Iron Menace’s colors will be umbra gray on supports and autumn red for track.

Two trains will be used on Iron Menace, each holding up to 21 passengers, with a projected capacity of 1,140 passengers per hour.

This new dive roller coaster will be Dorney Park’s 8th coaster.
