CEDAR POINT KRAFT BIG NOODLE – Have you been on a casual stroll back towards the Gemini Midway, and right after you round the corner of the backside of Top Thrill Dragster, you notice a large, yellow noodle? Congratulations! You have found the Kraft Mac and Cheese Big Noodle!
Emblazoned on the side of the fiberglass noodle is the phrase “You know you love it,” and there is no doubt Kraft Mac & Cheese makes for an amazing meal!
The noodle measures 20 feet long, nine feet high and weighs 2,000 pounds*! By our estimates, you would need 8,100 gallons of water to boil the #BigNoodle, which would make an estimated 13,241 servings!
*Note the noodle itself weighs in at 2,000 pounds, but the entire structure, includes 8,000 extra pounds to stabilize it. Therefore, the total weight is 10,000 pounds.
Other than getting to see and take your picture with the installation, there are no planned product tie-in events (i.e. free samples, etc.).
The Big Noodle appears to have been on tour since 2010. The sculpture will be on display at Cedar Point until mid-October, but an official end date has not been established.
Guests are encourages to tag their pictures with the big noodle with #BigNoodle and #CPBigNoodle.
The Kraft Big Noodle was officially removed from Cedar Point on November 4, 2014.
