One aspect we get a thrill out of by writing the CPFoodBlog is the thrill of the hunt, whether it be the latest menu items, new dining plan menus, or secret tips. However, another aspect that really gets us excited is getting to see concept art for some of the latest dining establishments.
When it was announced during the #WinterChillout that there would be all kinds of new Cedar Point dining facility improvements, we naturally got really excited.
Today Cedar Point released additional concept art for some of the new dining enhancements.
First, Hurricane Hannah’s, which opened in 2006 after the theme was moved over from the Geauga Lake purchase, will be transformed into the new Coca-Cola Oasis stand.
Since the Coke Oasis stand will be located as soon as you enter the park, this is an ideal location to either get your souvenir drink cup or refill your cup at the new Freestyle machines.
We love that the new theme is being incorporated into the existing building format, giving you a sense of being in a real beach resort.
Another major change is the facade to the outside of the Fresh Cut Fries stands throughout the park. All three will receive locations will receive new 3-dimensional signage.
In addition, the Altitudes store located adjacent to the main midway Fresh Cut Fries stand will be converted to a new Coca-Cola Freestyle stand.
We like this change, as the closest place to get a Freestyle drink prior to this renovation was inside Midway Market or all the way over by the GateKeeper Freestyle stand. This stand also has the potential to be way more lucrative than the store that existed there prior.
From concept to reality, the park opens in a couple short months, giving us much to be excited about for the 2016 season. What do you think of the new 2016 Cedar Point Concept Art for Coke Oasis, Fresh Cut Fry Stands, & Coke Freestyle?
