I was very disappointed that drinks are not part of the food plan. I have used the food plan at various parks and all of them include drinks. It makes no sense to not just increase the cost of the plan to include drinks with each meal or two drinks per day. This part of the program really needs to be changed.
It was not made clear to us as platinum holders that the all-season food plan was not available at other Cedar Fair parks. We live in VA near Kings Dominion, but go to CP every Memorial Day weekend so got our platinum passes there. Very disappointed as we will not get our money’s worth from the plan now.
PJ, Sorry for your issue, and thanks for posting the update. The meal plans are available at other Cedar Fair parks. However, once you buy them at one park, you can’t use them at another park. That being said, I would call them up and explain your situation and misunderstanding. They may just switch it for you to a Kings Dominion plan, especially if you are a long standing pass holder. Let us know if that works.
Disappointed that you are limited as to what foods you can get with the meal plan(i.e. hotdogs, burgers, chicken tenders). In addition, if you ask for a cup of water, they will only give you a small plastic cup. When I asked for a regular cup, I was told that it was the price of a drink and I couldn’t use my platinum pass for a discount.
