Shh, we are going to let you in on a little secret. Kings Dominion is one of our favorite Cedar Fair parks! There, we said it. We find the park just beautiful with so much wooded area throughout the property. Kings Dominion really puts the “park” in amusement park, and for that we are very grateful.

While our home park might be Cedar Point, and we typically travel down to Kings Island for Winterfest, this year our family will be changing it up by heading to Kings Dominion for their opening weekend of Winterfest. Not only will we get the chance to see the park decorated for the holidays, but also get to try out some of their seasonal Winterfest menu items.

Winterfest returns to Kings Dominion select nights November 25 through January 1.
