For the 2021 season, Cedar Point released a line of ride related Squishmallows that became all the rage and quickly sold out. The attractions highlighted included GateKeeper, Maverick, Millennium Force, Steel Vengeance, Top Thrill Dragster and Valravn (additional park specific versions were also released like a seagull eating fries).

This week Cedar Point released the ride specific Squishmallows again, only this time with a very specific omission.

The ride names are no longer on the Squishmallows.

All the below photos are of them from 2021 with the ride names embroidered into the front.

The 2022 versions no longer have the ride name on them, as shown below with the Millennium Force version.

Instead the back of the 2022 ride Squishmallows now feature a Check-In Series logo, claiming this is Series 1.

It is unclear why the new stuffed animals no longer have the ride logos, which now begs the question, are the originals more “valuable?”
