Ohio State Day at Cedar Point is back for the 2022 season! On Friday, May 6, friends, family, faculty, students, staff and alumni (in other words, everyone) can enjoy an exclusive day at Cedar Point before they open for the season.
Since Ohio State Day falls outside of the normal Cedar Point operating season, everyone needs a separately purchased ticket. Season passes and associated all-season plans (dining, etc.) are not valid on Ohio State Day.
Tickets are available on the Ohio State website and must be purchased in advance.
Ohio State students get tickets for $29
Friends/Family/Alumni/Everyone Else get tickets for $45
Parking is $15 when purchased in advance ($25 at the gate)
There is also a “secret” passholder ticket for only $13.99 that guests will see once they get into the ticketing system.
The first 4,000 guests on May 6 get a free Ohio State Day at Cedar Point t-shirt.
All tickets purchased before April 15 get a free unlimited drink wristband.
A special Buckeye BBQ lunch can be added to your ticket for $18.
Discounted resort stays are also available with promo code OSU.
Rides subject to availability during the Ohio State Day at Cedar Point. In addition, the university will host an appearance by the Ohio State Band. Tons of giveaways will be available throughout the day. And guests can enjoy free face painting and caricatures.

Does this “secret” $13.99 ticket include PARK admission and a drink band IF the person buying it has a season pass, such as a gold pass?
Yes $13.99 tickets are only for passholders. We believe the drink wristband offer is now expired though.
