Several years ago Knott’s Scary Farm introduced an interactive lantern guests could purchase and carry around the park. When using the lantern at select locations, the lights change colors and often trigger special effects.
This year Cedar Point will introduce the lanterns for $39.99.
The new lantern will reveal hidden secrets and behave in mysterious ways as it reacts inside haunted mazes, during live performances and at select locations in the park.
HalloWeekends kicks off at Cedar Point September 12 and runs select days through November 2.
