For those that might be accustomed to the routine, you already know that The Ohio State University buys out Cedar Point each year ahead of the park opening for the season. The good news is anyone can attend and you do not need to be an active student to participate. While season passes will not work on this day, or any of the add-ons like meal plans, you do need to purchase a separate ticket to participate.
Ohio State Day at Cedar Point takes place Friday, May 5 from 10 am to 8 pm.
Tickets are $48.99 each, or $33.99 for students. Buy tickets here.
Fortunately, Cedar Point will continue to offer a discounted season pass ticket for this event at $25 (tax included). This is a significant price increase over the 2022 Ohio State event, but still provides a great value to get into the park.
Your ticket includes an all-day drink wristband (because again your regular season pass add-on will not work).
The first 4,000 people also get a free t-shirt. There will also be free face-painting and caricatures as well as additional giveaways throughout the day.
There is also an optional BBQ lunch available for $19.99, which includes grilled chicken quarters, barbeque pork, mac and cheese, chips and fruit.
Keep in mind your season pass parking also does not work during Ohio State Day at Cedar Point. Guests can pre-purchase parking for $15 ($25 at the gate).

If we purchase tickets for OSU day do you get to go back on Saturday like the past years?
No. The only reason tickets were extended last year was because of the poor weather and not much was operating.
