Since 2019, Cedar Point has offered Play & Save coupon books that gave guests discounts on various items around the park. This year, while the price did increase, so did the benefits.
The big change is the one time use Fast Lane pass is no longer included with the Play & Save card. Discounts have also been decreased.
For $30, guest get a lanyard with all the discounts that are included for the 2023 season.

– $30 in midway games play (use just like you would when buying games)
– 15% off total merchandise bill at Point Plaza, Pagoda Gifts, CP Shop, Emporium, GateKeeper Gifts, Valravn Gifts, Cedar Creek Trading Company, or Breakers Boutique.
– 30% off single merchandise item at Point Plaza, Pagoda Gifts, CP Shop, Emporium, GateKeeper Gifts, Valravn Gifts, Cedar Creek Trading Company, or Breakers Boutique.
– Buy 1/2 lb fudge, get one free (Sweet Spot)
– Buy One Pretzel, Get One Free (Pretzel Fillers, Stockade, Auntie Anne’s)
– Buy One Popcorn, Get One Free (Red Garter Saloon, Last Chance Saloon, Pretzel Fillers)
– Buy One ICEE, Get One Free (Boardwalk Cotton Candy, Coasters Coolers, Skyride Refreshment, Stockade, CJ Provisions)
– $5 off any arcade package
– $10 off parasail or waverunner rental

If I were to purchase 1 could I use it over the summer? Like as in a season pass holder? Or is it use the same day as purchase.
The benefits do not all have to be used on the same day. However, remember, it’s one redemption of each item. So once you use one discount, you can not use it again.
