Coasters Drive-In restaurants across the Cedar Fair chain are routinely one of the most crowded locations with typical lines out the door. As part of the 2022 improvement projects, the Valleyfair Coasters will receive a complete overhaul for the new season. Guests will still get to experience the classic 50’s diner atmosphere, but now with an updated look and feel to accommodate more guests.
The overhaul will include a new double sided queue like has been rolled out in the past couple years at Knott’s Boardwalk BBQ, Cedar Point’s Corral, and Kings Island’s Coney Bar-B-Que.
With cafeteria style service, the efficiency can be maximized to improve the flow of guests through the restaurant.
We would anticipate this change also coming to other Cedar Fair Coasters restaurants in the years ahead.
See bottom of this post for interior photos of Coasters prior to the renovation.
Superior Stage New Bar

**UPDATE The below photos are the finished product for the new Superior Bar.
