Did you enjoy the VIP lounges for the Cedar Point 150th anniversary season? Adjacent to Millennium Force were large tents that were set up as a relaxing lounge with oversized comfy chairs, fans, televisions, phone chargers and access to an exclusive bar. There was also a smaller area on the Wicked Twister midway. Guests were able to win access into the lounge in 2021 via various contests or purchase access.
Then we saw a return of the tents for the 2021 HalloWeekends VIP Lounge.
In a very surprising move, the tents are back again for 2022, this time dubbed the Millennium Club Lounge. Access is available June 24 – August 18, 2022.
While it is presumed access will again be available via Tweet-ups, the only current way to gain access to the area is by purchasing a daily pass for $49.99 $39.99. UPDATE: In addition to the lower price, the current price also includes a Cedar Point Play & Save card.
The Play & Save card along sells for $20 and gets guests a single use Fast Lane, free midway games dollars, discounts on merchandise, food and select other items. This means daily access in reality is down to only $20/person.
In addition, Cedar Point is offering a special FunDay Bundle Max ticket for $119.99 $99.99 that includes Parking, Admission, FunPix, Games Play & Save Card, and Premium All Day Dining, as well as access to the Millennium Club Lounge on the operating dates listed above.
Included in the price of the lounge is complimentary appetizers, infused waters, lounge seating, phone chargers, TVs, and private bar.
But wait, there’s more. If you are a season passholder, and want access to the lounges all summer, there is now a new option. For $199, you can add the Summer-Long Lounge access to your season pass.
We are rather surprised to see the lounges return given that during all of our visits in 2021, there were typically very few people utilizing the area. With the staffing issues typically experienced at Cedar Point, interesting move that you would want to tie up some of the workers to an under utilized area. To counter this thought though, cabanas are always sold out at the water parks, and think how little those are actually utilized outside of going in there to eat.
