Looking for a breathe of fresh air for your Carolina traditions? Carowinds has made a surprise announcement that select nights in November and December, the park will open for a new event, Taste of the Season: An Outdoor Holiday Experience. Similar to the Knott’s Taste of Merry Farm event, Carowinds will feature dozens of sweet and savory tastings, festive themed areas, live shows, and popular rides throughout the park.
Taste of the Season will take place weekends November 21 through December 20, 2020. Great news for 2020 and 2021 season passholders, as the Taste of the Season park admission is valid for entry. Season passholders can start making reservations on November 9 and daily tickets can be purchased and reserved starting November 11.
Want some rides? Of course you do! Taste of the Season includes family rides in Camp Snoopy, as well as Copperhead Strike, Afterburn and Ricochet!
Of course a Taste event would not be complete without a fine collection of specialty eats.
Carowinds will offer two options. First, those with dining plans will be able to eat at select locations within the park. However, note that the special Taste of the Season menu items will not be included with dining and drink plans.
For guests looking to experience the full menu of options, guests will be required to purchase a Tasting Card.
Carowinds is offering a couple different price points on tasting cards.
– 6 tastings $30
– 9 tastings $45
Menu items are also available a la carte for $6.99 each.
