Are you headed to Worlds of Fun for Winterfest? With all the lights, decorations and live entertainment, the park also offers signature menu items throughout the park exclusive to the event. We had the chance to try some of them, and they come highly recommended! So lets dive into the 2019 Worlds of Fun Winterfest Food & Beverage Guide.
2019 Worlds of Fun Winterfest Souvenir Mug
The 2019 insulated mug is $11.99 and offers free refills of coffee or hot chocolate on day of purchase. Then on subsequent visit through December 31, 2019, refills are only $1. The parks also are incorporating the 15 minute interval between refills.
However, new for 2019, Worlds of Fun is offering the souvenir mug for only $5 when paired with the Taste of Winterfest tasting card. See below.

Coasters Rockin’ WinterFest Cafe (Coasters)
Holiday Pot Roast Sandwich Basket- $12.99 (Dining Plan)
Christmas Tree Chicken & Waffles- $12.99 (Dining Plan)(We opted for the larger dining plan portion and received two decent-sized breaded chicken strips, three green sugar coated waffles, and a cup of red and green M&M’s. The chicken strips were excellent, fresh and tender with great flavor. The waffles appeared and tasted as though they were deep fried and were coated in a festive green colored sugar. They were a welcome sweet option for the Dining Plans that are typically short on dessert opportunities. Instead of attempting to sprinkle the M&M’s on the waffles for eating, we finished them off from the cup after we polished off the rest of the meal.)

The ice cream was very good with plenty of mint flavor and light chocolate flavor. The crushed candy cane sprinkles added some additional holiday flavor. The cookies were pretty standard, just like the kind you would get in a package on the shelf at the grocery store. They left us wondering just how much better this tasting would have been with warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.)
Lucky Cat
Hand Carved Prime Rib- $14.99; $3.99 upgrade for dining plan
Holiday Nachos- $6.99
Smoked Chicken & Grits- $11.99
BBQ Seared Shrimp & Grits- $11.99 (After sampling this meal as a Winterfest Tasting, we opted to try it out as a full meal, available on the Dining Plans. Whereas the tasting included just 2 shrimp served on a bed of grits in a small plastic bowl, the full entree’ included 6 shrimp, and was served in a standard sugar waffle cone. The meal was drizzled with a soy-based sauté sauce which had slight blackened taste. The shrimp were sautéed and tasted very good. The grits were also good, moist and creamy, but not runny. The waffle cone provided a welcome dessert-like experience after finishing the contents.)

Cheese Pizza Basket (550 calories)- $12.99
Holiday Pizza Basket (White sauce, chicken, cranberries, Brussels sprouts, yam)(844 calories)- $14.99 (The pizza slice was smaller than what we were used to getting with an entree. Chicken, mozzarella cheese, Brussels sprouts, and cranberries topped the pizza. The cranberries were a nice surprise and added a very pleasant alternative flavor to the pizza, something we did not expect. The Brussels sprouts, however, did not go with this pizza at all, and after eating a couple of them, we pulled the remaining ones off in order to better enjoy the meal. The chicken was not distributed very well across the pizza, and we would have preferred a larger portion.)
Parmesan Chicken Fries- (The tasting portion provided a decent number of chicken fries (thin strips of chicken meat, breaded and fried) topped with marinara sauce, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, with a large dollop of Ricotta cheese topping. The chicken meat was very thin and was overwhelmed by the breading such that we seemed to be eating marinara covered breading. However, the marinara sauce was very flavorful and the Parmesan cheese added additional complementary flavor to the fries.)

Holiday Donut Nachos (1070 calories)- $13.99 (Small fried cake donuts form the foundation of this dessert, a mild nutmeg glaze is lightly dripped over them, a freshly sliced strawberry sauce is liberally applied, and is followed by two whipped cream dollops with sprinkles on top. The tasting lived up to its name by being tasty! The nutmeg flavor was minimal and not overpowering, and the strawberries were a pleasant surprise. Whipped cream is a natural with donuts and strawberries, and the sprinkles added holiday flair with some appropriate colors. They were popular with our small group and were devoured quickly.)
