Headed to Valleyfair (or even ValleyScare)? Why not save some money in the process. A lot of times, going directly to the Valleyfair website can get you the best deal. However, keep in mind, when buying online, guests not only pay the taxes, but also a pesky online processing fee. So anytime we can cut out the fees and save a little money, that is more money in your pocket.

Unfortunately, trying to purchase tickets directly at the gate to avoid the processing fee does not work because the online prices are only valid when purchasing on a mobile device or computer. In other words, gate prices are usually higher than online.

Currently Valleyfair is offering a $36 ticket on their website. However, with taxes ($2.58) and processing fees ($5.99), the total ticket price is $44.57.

Sure it is only a couple bucks, but for a family or group of friends, the cost can add up for those on a budget.
