Outside of the midwest region, most people have no idea what we mean when we say Sweetest Day. The day was created by Cleveland candy makers back in 1921 and is meant to be similar to Valnentine’s Day with expressions of love, with the idea of selling more candy.

Honestly, of all months to have Sweetest Day, October seems like an odd selection given that it coincides with Halloween, one of the biggest candy days of the year.

Regardless, we celebrate Sweetest Day on October 21, 2017, and as is tradition, Cedar Point’s Bay Harbor will host a special menu for the occasion.
