Back for the second year is the 2016 Kings Dominion Spring Bloom event, which not only celebrates the return of the spring season, a new year of the park being open, but also a culinary experience that showcases some of Chef Paul Maloney’s extraordinary talents. On Saturdays and Sundays April 16 to May 15, 2016, guests can experience great food, drinks, and live entertainment while taking in the gorgeous settings of Kings Dominion.
New for this year, rather than the festival booths being spread out around International Street, they will be centrally located around the Eiffel Tower.
While Chef Paul hand selected the various countries that will be represented during the festival, they often opened the voting up on social media to see which country the guests would like to see added. We were extremely happy to see Ireland was the chosen selection and were intrigued to see what Chef Paul could come up with for menu items.
Spring Bloom will not only take advantage of local sourced products, but is continuing the tradition of pairing up with beer and wine producers to showcase some of their talents as well. So let’s take a look at what food options are in store.
All tastings are $5 each ($4 for season passholders). Drinks are $3 for a sample and $8 for a full. You can also purchase a combo ticket containing 4 Food and 4 Beverage tastings for $25.
