<p><P><P>What started back in 2009, the ever popular Cedar Point Boeckling&#8217;s Banquet is back again for the 2016 Haunt season. The exclusive event takes place inside G.A. Boeckling&#8217;s Eerie Estate haunted house on Friday and Saturdays throughout Halloweekends. </p>
<p>For $75 per person, you get the choice of the following entrees:</p>
<p><strong>Braised Coda di Rospo</strong> (Braised Monk Fish, White Bean, Roasted Grape Tomato, Pinot Grigio, Rosemary, Basil)</p>
<p><strong>Pumpkin Ravioli</strong> (Vegetarian: Light Gorgonzola Cream, Candied Walnuts, Roasted Baby Vegetables, Tri-Colored Fingerling Potatoes)</p>
<p><strong>Charbroiled Filet Mignon</strong> (Classic Bearnaise)</p>
<p><strong>Red Wine Braised Short Rib</strong> (Pan Jus)</p>
<p><strong>Surf &#038; Turf</strong> (Petite Filet &#038; Broiled Half Lobster, Bearnaise, Clarified Butter) </p>
<p>Each meal is also served with the following:</p>
<p>Amuse Bouche (Roasted Tomato Bruschetta)</p>
<p>Fall Salad (Bartlett Pear, Dried Cranberry, Spiced Walnuts, Goat Cheese, Blood Orange Vinaigrette)</p>
<p>House Made Dinner Rolls and Herb Butter</p>
<p>Gory Dessert Sampler (Chocolate Treats Drizzled With Blood)</p>
<p>Beverages (Glass of Wine or Beer, Assorted Coca-Cola Beverages)</p>

<p>The price of Boeckling&#8217;s Banquet includes tip and taxes. Therefore, in reality, you are getting an all-inclusive fine dining experience inside a Cedar Point haunted house for roughly $56 per person (+ tax &#038; 20% tip). </p>

Hi, My family and I thoroughly enjoy the Boeckling's Banquet. The 16th of September was the first time we had participated for a couple of years and the 3rd time in all. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was perfect as usual. However, the quality for the cost was very lacking. The 1/2 Lobster was VERY small. The tail consisted of only a small morsel. The filet was tasty but not at all what I expected based on previous two dinners we attended. The desert was atrocious and barely edible. It consisted of about an inch of frosting on a tiny 1/2 in piece of cake. In theory the idea of the bug like appearance of the lobster and the purple potatoes (by the way were excellent) was appropriate for the season but none of the food met the standard of the previous dinners we had attended. Was pretty much disappointing considering we spent $300 for the dinner. The previous hostesses were also more entertaining as they got the guests involved with the haunting. As far as the haunting part went we simply had audio recordings being played. All in all, while the food tasted good I felt the dinner and the dinner experience were lacking as compared to previous two times we attended. Oh and the complimentary favor of the Halloween style water glass still had the stickers on the bottom. Probably were not washed before used for serving us. Disappointed guest.

Do you know if the dinner is begin held for the 2017 season? We have not missed one yet, would hate to see this end.
