Via Valleyfair Zone, the park will be having a Pig Roast on Saturday, September 13, 2014. This is the first year for the event and details are still coming in, but here is what we do know.

The event will take place at the front of the park at the Midway stage.

The park will be slow roasting a few pigs and selling pulled pork platters and sandwiches along with typical sides.

Platter $9.99
1/3 Lb of Meat
2 Sides: BBQ Beans and Coleslaw
Watermelon wedge
A dinner roll

Pork Sandwich $7.99
Shredded Pork on Kaiser bun plus one side
BBQ Beans, Coleslaw or Watermelon wedge
$1.99 for additional side

Also available will be local beers provided by Badger Hill Brewing Company (16oz $8.99) and Coca-Cola soft drinks (30 oz $4.29, 20 oz $3.99, Dasani 20 oz $3.59):

High Road Everyday Ale (blonde/golden style)
Traitor IPA (India Pale Ale)
White IPA (Belgian Style Wit beer with spices)
MSB Minnesota Special Bitter (ESB style)
