Paul Bunyan is claimed to have been born in Minnesota and his American folklore must have come with a pretty big appetite!
Valleyfair has introduced a new namesake Paul Bunyan burger to the Northwoods Grill menu. The extra large sandwich is even featured on the Valleyfair dining plan!
A freshly charbroiled hamburger is topped with American cheese. Then on top of bacon is a heaping portion of pulled pork. Finally the sandwich is topped with fried onion straws on a really hearty bun.
Guests have the choice of standard fries or a salad as a side. Or if you are like us, you pay the small up-charge for fried cheese curds.
The Valleyfair Paul Bunyan burger is everything a specialty burger should be at an amusement park. Pile it high with unique toppings and make it something special!
The Paul Bunyan burger is huge and makes for a great meal. We enjoyed this burger so much, we had it twice in one day, once with fries and the other with cheese curds.
Speaking of fried cheese curds. This may be the most special development out of all the Cedar Fair parks. You can get them as an upgrade at almost all of the food stands! You have no idea how we would LOVE to see this offered at more parks in lieu of fries!
Overall, if you are on the meal plan and you want something different, the Paul Bunyan burger is definitely worth a try.
