Having adventuresome kids means riding extreme rides (like Bad Apple for a 5 year old) and enjoying a fresh sushi roll. However, often times our kids enjoy staple food items too, like chicken tenders. So we recently decided to stop in and try the Kings Dominion Outer Hanks chicken tender combo from the dining plan.
The chicken tender meal on the dining plan includes three chicken tenders, fries, hush puppies, and a side of slaw.
We were pleasantly surprised to see the chicken tenders were hand battered and super juicy. Not to mention they were very good tasting.
The hush puppies were a nice addition to the standard fries.
We were also very happy to see the coleslaw tasted fresh and was not the overly dressed version one can purchase in bulk.
Even though the portions of the slaw were small with the two hush puppies, just the idea that the meal came with more than just the chicken tenders and fries was a very welcome addition. Plus it all tasted great!
