On September 19, 2015, Cedar Point debuted a new seasonal pumpkin pretzel at the Pretzel Fillers stand located in front of Magnum. Cedar Point pumpkin pretzels are once again back for 2016.
Unlike those at Auntie Anne’s, which are handmade in front of you, the pretzels served at the Pretzel Fillers stand come pre-made, but are baked on premises.
Pretzels are $5.99 and are included in our Cedar Point Halloweekends Treats Guide.
The pumpkin pretzel is a regular pretzel stuffed with pumpkin pie filling.
Among the four in our party that tried the pumpkin pretzel, we had mixed reviews. Pumpkin in general tends to have a love or hate it relationship with peoples tastes. We thought the filling was rather strong with lots of spices, and lost some of the sweetness associated with traditional pumpkin. While we are happy to see the park bring in some new seasonal offerings, the pumpkin pretzel was a try and done option that we will not need to eat again.
If you tried the new pumpkin pretzel, let us know what you thought below in the comments.

Last year when I tried to get a pumpkin pretzel they were out of them, so I finally got one this year on 9/24. I love everything pumpkin, but this was terrible. Parts of it were hard as a rock, there was hardly any filling and what there was of it didn’t have much pumpkin taste. I ended up throwing some of it away. I won’t be getting it again. A friend of mine let me try his cream cheese filled pretzel and it was much better than the pumpkin!
Thanks for the feedback! It hasn’t been our favorite as well.
Had one this weekend and it was just ok… pretty dried out and as the other reviewer posted, hard. The filling tasted more like apple to me. Great concept but maybe they can improve upon it 🙂
